ABOUT lo!
Lauren "Lo Love" Marte is a rising social media star who is known for posting hilarious content ranging from re-enactments of the latest celebrity drama to funny dancing videos and vlogs. Lo's outrageous celebrity impressions and wide range of costumes has ultimately helped her grow her online following as well as get recognized by celebrities, such as Missy Elliot and Blueface. She's had viral videos appear on FOX's "Right This Minute" as well as in an ad for Uber. Lo also is an Amazon influencer and has been a part of an influencer event for Dillard's in which she created a few videos showcasing their fashion finds for Valentine's Day. She also appeared in an article in the Washington Post, along with her daughter, reviewing her experience of watching the movie "Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce", and cosplaying as Blue Ivy and Beyonce at the local premiere.
A North Carolina native, Lo Love briefly studied acting while obtaining her degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from NC A&T State University. She also danced with the number one HBCU auxiliary squad "Golden Delight" while there. For most of her life, Lo was a part of a few local acting and dance groups where she performed in several plays and had the opportunity to dance all across the US. Lo is also a wife and mother of two and she loves adding her family into her videos, making some of her content a fun family affair.
After trying her hand at modeling and starting a podcast with some friends, Lo decided that having her own video platform where she would write, shoot, and edit her own material was what she ultimately wanted to do.This is why she became a content creator on Youtube and how her show Lo Unfiltered came to be. She later transitioned to creating shorter videos, specifically for Tik Tok, which led to tremendous growth for her brand and the start of her business Lo Love Entertainment.
Often receiving rave reviews for her funny, energetic, and over the top performances, Lo is excited about the next step in her career which is breaking into comedic television and movie roles. She is a huge fan of sketch comedy shows such as In Living Color, Key and Peele, and Saturday Night Live. Some of her comedic influences are Regina Hall, Jim Carrey, Issa Rae, Eddie Murphy and the Wayans Family.
With her growing online presence and love of performing, Lo see's herself having her own television sketch comedy show one day and starting her own line of products and merchandise surrounding her brand.
